Greetings!


This is Stephanie. Or Stephi, or SK, or Chef Steph, or (as one of 5 siblings) "Hey You"!


Today is my 49th birthday. To acknowledge the 365 days left until my 50th birthday, I have created 365 to 50.


For the past however many years, I have started my birthday off will the same three goals for the coming year:

  1. Lead a healthier lifestyle

  2. Get my house organized

  3. Write down my recipes

Well, guess what, these goals usually go out the window by January 10th with the exception of #1 which I can usual hang in with until the 31st.


If I am going to be completely honest, #2 is most likely never going to happen so I don't know why I keep putting it on there. Really, I should replace #2 with something I know I can handle, like drink more rose or eat more tacos. Goals are supposed to be achievable, are they not?


One thing that I do know is that, with a little self-discipline, #1 and #3 are totally doable.


Sooooo, that is where 365 to 50 comes in. I have create this to keep myself accountable. It is going to be part lifestyle blog, part cooking blog, part bitching-because-I-feel-like-it-in-a-fun-way blog, part travel blog, etc. There will be no preaching or judgement here. It is just a place to create a community, have some fun, and share some of the recipes and other things I have learned along the way.
